Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Service description

GDPR Privacy Monitor ("the Service") is operated by SkuBee s.r.o., with registered office at Doležalova 3424/15C, 821 04 Bratislava, Slovakia. Company ID (ICO): 57 113 998. Tax ID (DIC): 2122575576. VAT ID: SK2122575576. The Service provides automated pre-consent and cookie-consent compliance monitoring for websites, including cookie analysis, consent-banner detection, tracker identification, risk scoring, and evidence-pack generation (PDF reports, HAR logs, screenshots).

2. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address when registering. You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only to:

  • Scan websites you own or have explicit authorization to scan.
  • Evaluate cookie-consent risk indicators for legitimate business or professional purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the Service to disrupt, overload, or attack third-party websites.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse prevention measures, or access controls.
  • Resell or sublicense bulk scan output as a standalone data product without a separate commercial agreement.
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.

Agency and professional users may share scan results and evidence packs with their own clients as part of their services.

4. Payment terms

Free-tier usage does not require payment. As of March 2026, the self-serve paid plans shown on our website are Starter at 9 EUR per month, Pro at 29 EUR per month, and Agency Pro at 199 EUR per month. Annual billing may be offered for selected plans. Prices are displayed in euros, and checkout will show any VAT or similar indirect tax that applies to your billing country or customer status.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers. Subscription renewals occur automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings; paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days.

If you are an EU consumer, you may have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract. Where the checkout flow offers immediate activation of a paid digital service, we may ask for your express consent to start supplying the service before the withdrawal period ends. We may also ask you to acknowledge that the withdrawal right may be reduced or lost to the extent permitted by law once supply begins.

5. Data processing

When you submit a URL for scanning, we process technical data described in our Privacy Policy. Scan results, PDF reports, HAR files, and screenshots are stored within the EU (Hetzner Object Storage, Frankfurt) and are automatically deleted after the retention period for your subscription tier expires.

For agency and professional users who scan websites on behalf of third parties, you warrant that you have the necessary authorization to perform such scans.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its source code, design, and documentation are owned by SkuBee s.r.o.. Scan results and evidence packs generated for your account belong to you and may be shared with your clients. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Service itself.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service provides technical risk indicators, not legal advice. Scan results should be reviewed by a qualified professional before making compliance decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • SkuBee s.r.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Service availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Account Settings. Upon account deletion, associated account data, scan results, monitors, and evidence packs are scheduled for deletion and removed within 30 days unless a shorter artifact retention period applies first.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation. In case of termination for cause, no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic and applicable EU regulations. For business users, any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bratislava, Slovakia. If you are an EU consumer, nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer protections, including rights to rely on the mandatory laws and courts of your country of residence where applicable.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may close your account before the effective date.

12. Consumer dispute resolution

If you are an EU consumer, you may use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration body unless mandatory law requires it.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
